Taranaki

Real estate agent and Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, Selwyn is a Justice of the Peace, and has been awarded Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit. He is a member and past President of the Rotary Club of Hawera and holds a status of a Paul Harris Fellow.

In 2008 Selwyn was appointed by the New Zealand Law Society as a lay person to the Taranaki Law Society’s Standards Committee and continues to fill this role. Selwyn is also a past Trustee of the Taranaki Savings Bank Community Trust Board and the Taranaki Elite Athletes Foundation. He is the past President of both Wrestling New Zealand and the Oceania Wrestling Committee.

He was also a qualified international wrestling referee, having judged wrestling at four Commonwealth Games as well as being appointed on the Sydney Olympic Games Organising Committee to oversee wrestling.

Born and bred in Taranaki, Jen spent 18 years managing TSB Community Trust which distributes funds to the local community. Jen is a former Taranaki Trustee of the Halberg Disability Sports Foundation and is a former Sport Taranaki Board Member. She enjoys all sport but has a passion for equine sports - particularly show jumping.

David is a director of TSB Bank Ltd and Surf Life Saving New Zealand, the managing director of David Lean & Associates Ltd, Rahotu Dairy Ltd and chairman of Sport Taranaki. He has extensive local government experience, including 12 years as Mayor of New Plymouth District Council.

Garry is the current executive director of the New Zealand Secondary Schools Sports Council and is also working as a project manager for Sport NZ. He has held a variety of rugby-related roles including manager of the Hurricanes and Junior All Blacks. Garry is also a member of the New Zealand Olympic Education Commission.
